When an editor becomes a novelist

When you're used to facts, how do you switch to inventing events and characters? When you're used to editing the work of others, how do you hand that power to someone else?

Howard Lovy has been a journalist, editor and broadcaster for all his professional life, but recently found himself writing a novel - and experiencing the publishing process from a whole new angle. I talk to him about the experience here.
